Blue Christmas is about naming the fact that for many people, the joy, celebration, and expectation of this time of year is often tinged with sadness. Many churches offer a Blue Christmas service or a Quiet service in the lead up to Christmas. It is a great opportunity to offer an ecumenical service as churches work together to offer a space for the community to gather.
