2025-2026 Multicultural Infrastructure and Security Program
Grants of up to $400,000 are available to maintain, upgrade, and secure multicultural community infrastructure.
Status: Open, closes 5 January 2026
Who can apply:Not-for-profit groups
Funding: up to $400,000
The following groups and projects will be prioritised:
* regional based projects
* applications from new and emerging communities
* organisations that have not previously received multicultural grant funding from the department.
Projects targeting one or more of these priority groups will receive a higher score in the assessment phase and will have reduced matched funding requirements.
Organisations can apply for infrastructure activities for existing community facilities, including:
* maintenance
* upgrades
* renovation
* physical security
* security planning
* outdoor areas
* fixed assets
* project management.
Organisations can apply for one or more of the activities listed.

Ronald Wilson Ecumenical Leadership Fund

The Ecumenical Leadership Fund assists young people eager to enlarge their ecumenical experience and leadership skills.  It helps those who have exhibited leadership potential to develop their gifts and focus their vision. More details here

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Development Fund (ATSIDF)

Status: Applications are received from July to March each year.
The fund is set up to assist Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples by giving small, usually one-off grants for community development projects. The projects are funded through the NATSIEC annual Martung Upah Appeal.

Men’s Shed Funding Program

Men’s sheds are safe and practical places for men to meet, make social connections and actively participate in their local communities. The Victorian Government is offering grants up to $100,000 to help build or improve Men’s Sheds across the state. Find out more and apply. 

Toy Library Establishment Grants Program
Status: Round 1 applications close 19th November
The Victorian Government is offering grants of $40,000 to eligible not-for-profit organisations interested in establishing a new toy library in areas that need it the most. Register and get more information via the Toy Library Grants Program webpage.

Missionary Sisters of Service Scholarship
Applications closed 31 October 2023
The Missionary Sisters of Service Scholarship is to be awarded for the first time in 2024 to mark the 80th anniversary of the order’s founding. The scholarship fully covers the recipient’s tuition fees for postgraduate study at the University of Divinity ($19,032 per full-time year at 2024 rates) and provides a $10,000 annual living allowance. The scholarship is available for a fixed period of two years. The purpose of the scholarship is to support theological education and pastoral leadership in Australia that is consonant with the vision of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ encyclical on ‘care for our common home’ which addresses matters of integral ecology, ecological education and spirituality and calls all people to action on environmentalism and climate change. (Applicants must be female and under 40 years of age). More information here
